Cards

Masculine cards

I made some masculine cards for Father’s Day even though Father’s day in Germany is long over. It was in April, on a Thursday, on Ascension Day! In Germany, Father’s Day is celebrated with the men going out drinking with their male friends and you don’t even have to be a Father to join in the male festivities either!

Anyway, apart from Germany, Father’s Day is coming soon, so here are the cards I made for a friend’s father.

My golf die cuts come from Lea’bilities. I coloured a checked design paper with some distress paints to create a plaid look for the golf bag. For the golf clubs, I just heat embossed a card stock with silver embossing powder before die cutting them. The green turf is actually a Swiffer duster I inked up with SU inks!

I’m entering this card at

Uniko Studio‘s Masculine with the option of Father’s Day challenge

Cards In Envy – No girls allowed

The Paper Players – Father’s Day

Cardz 4 Guyz – Father’s Day

This card uses the same technique I tried with this card here. I bought larger sparkly powder and that made it easier to fill it.

This next one is not a Father’s Day card but its another “fun” card for the birthday of my daughter’s friend who’s crazy about Minecraft.

I first coloured lines in different greens from my ColorBox inks which I then proceeded to cut in to squares. I arranged them on the black card and pasted black shapes to make the eyes/nose and mouth of the creeper. The sentiment comes from Stampendous.

I’m entering this card at The Male Room‘s Critter challenge cause I think a Creeper is a critter!

Have a great week!
