My sis posted a book club thingy on Facebook the other day. If you liked her post, you send your favourite book to someone she lists and you in turn get books from stangers around the world! I sent someone “The Four Agreements”. Its one of my favourite books and I wish I had discovered it earlier. To accompany the book, I made her a book mark too.
There is so much going on in this bookmark. I first stamped the sentiment from Tim Holtz and heat embossed it with Wow’s clear embossing powder. I then sponged in with Stampin Up’s inks and attached the die cuts which came from my scrap box.
This is the other side. I first went used my Brushos paint powder to colour it before adding clear paste and a pearly paste through a few different stencils. The edges were cut with a crafting scissors.
Hope she’ll like it!
Oh I just have to share a few pics of some amazing squash I saw at a Creative fair last week!
Yes they’re squash! Amazing aren’t they. The squash come from Turkey but the artwork is done in Germany.
I entered the book mark in the following challenges:
Cards and More – Anything but a card
Love to Create – Anything creative/mixed media
Simon Says Stamp Monday – Trio-Tastic, Use 3 of something on your project. Believe it or not I only used 3 colours on each side of my book mark!
Beautiful Bookmark 🙂 Thanks for joining us at Cards und More.
