I just finished a new design for my Valentine’s Day shadow cards collection, and as I was creating this card, it brought back memories of the time I was in high school. It was an all girls school and we used to secretly give Valentines Day cards to girls we admired! It was always nice to receive a card and know that someone thought you were special. Which is why I think Valentines Day shouldn’t just be for lovers, but for everyone we love, be it family or friends!
This card is a personal design done in Silhouette studio and cut using my Silhouette portrait machine. The heart design is actually an outline of the heart die from Spellbinders Heart & Flutter die set, which I scanned into my Silhouette studio app. I used Red Roses brushos to paint the roses and my Zig real brush marker to paint the heart. I then adhered the Spellbinders heart die cut, which I cut using my Big Shot. The sentiment from Stamplorations is from Becca Crugar’s Big Grins collection called “Funny Kinda Love” and was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Wow embossing powder.
I hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!
