Some days you have to don’t you, just have to breathe, let go and go with it. Its too stressful anyway, on crazy days, to try and control everything when nothings going your way. Or go over and over in your head about what you could have done, should have done, shouldn’t have done. ..it just adds more wrinkles on your face and ulcers everywhere!
So just sit back, grab a glass of wine, or coffee if its too early to drink ;), and look at my jellyfish! I don’t know why but I loved this stamp as soon as I saw it at Altenew. I don’t particularly love jellyfishes in general, but this one just called out to me! It was also perfect for the challenge theme at Casology which is “flow” and I wanted to make it really bright, and hopefully beautiful, for the challenge over at AAA Cards.
To make the card I first used my Zigs clean color real brushes to create the ocean background on watercolour paper. I then stamped Altenew’s soft lilac as a base before building it up with Distress ink Picked raspberry and Tsukineko VersaMagic Pixie dust for the tentacles. I also went over the dark pink highlights on the jellyfish with my Fluorescent pink Zig marker to add more interest. The sentiment from the same set was stamped with Versafine ink.
I die cut the whole thing with Stamplorations Crazy double running stitch die and glued it on a card. It was a relatively fast card to make and I think I’ll be making more cards and go crazy with the colours on the jellyfish!
Thanks for stopping by and I hoped this image relaxed you a little, just in time for the weekend! Have a great relaxing one, doing all the things that make you happy!
I’m also playing at:
AAA Card Challenge – Bright and beautiful. I think my card fits the theme, no? 😊
HLS Watercolour challenge – Anything goes which I did without the option of red for this entry. I will enter one with red soon, promise!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge – The great outdoors…ok you would normally think mountain ranges, fields…but the sea is still outside too right?
The Male Room – Many legs…
I tried a jellyfish card the other day and it just didn’t turn out.. yours however is outstanding.. lifelike and so magical… love this! Thank you for joining us at The Male Room.

This reminds me of chemistry lessons at school with chromatography (can’t believe I remembered the word!), dissecting inks. Gorgeous
