Grunge

Is not really my thing… not even when I was a teenager. Then I preferred clean lines and colours for my clothes and I still do and you can see that in my cards most of the time too.. although thats probably from a lack of imagination and creativity. Lol!

But for the sake of joining into Addicted to CAS‘s challenge who’s theme was Grunge, I tried my best.

I’m not even sure thats considered grunge… but oh well…. I used a Dutch Doobado stencil with Brushos to create those splotches and stamped the gorgeous butterfly and sentiment from Stamplorations. I cut one edge with my fancy scissors and adhered the panel to a Hero Arts card.

Et voila, a quick card that I hope you’ll find… interesting! 😉 At least that’s what my very diplomatic daughter said! LoL! Sorry the post is so short but I’m off for another road trip, this time to Denmark with the above mentioned diplomat, for her friend’s communion.

Thanks for stopping by and I love reading your comments!

  3. I think you did a great job of “grung- Gwendolyn-style” The colourful splats are so fun and a great place for the butterfly to rest. 🙂 Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
