Creative with Stamps – Leaves

Its time again for another challenge at Creative with Stamps! This month, our challenge theme is “Leaves” and there are 3 digi stamps from our generous sponsor Pattie’s Creations  up for grabs to a random winner, so do join in the fun!

Pattie's Creations

I used one of the images designed by Patty Gomez, which she was so kind to provide for us, called Pumpkin with Vines, and created a watercolour Autumn scene. I have never used a digi stamp before so this is my first try, but I also wanted to do a no line colouring with it. Which is why I was so happy when Kristina Werner reminded us how to transfer a printed image onto paper or vellum. You can find her video here. Remember how we used to do it in school?! Thanks Kristina!

So I transferred the main pumpkin image, then also transferred just the top vines to create a top border on my card. The leaves under the pumpkin were hand drawn by me and everything was water coloured using my Windsor and newton paints.

I then matted my watercolour panel onto an orange embossed card that my friend and now DT mate Monika from Creative with Monika gave me. I’m still using them, Monika, thanks so much!! Both were then adhered onto a red card base.

Well I hope you like my card and that you’ll go over to the Creative with Stamps challenge blog and give some love to my team mates too.

Thanks for stopping by and your comments are always so appreciated!

I’m sharing this card over at:
