Galaxy background card 1

Today will be the first in my series of ways to use water coloured Galaxy backgrounds on my card. The reason why I’m doing this is because I practised painting galaxies last month with my new Winsor & Newton paints and they were so sad just lying around feeling neglected and lifeless… (Get it? Lifeless…Galaxies… oh well I tried. 😁)

This card was inspired by the Silhouette challenges over at the CAS Watercolour card & Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenges. Its been awhile that I’ve made a CAS card and it was good to go back to clean and simple… although there was nothing simple in painting the galaxy… LoL! It was very quick to make, which was good, as it was for a birthday for my daughter’s classmate and she only told me a few hours before!

The silhouette die cut was made with a die from Dixicraft, a made in China die, but I couldn’t find any silhouette dies made in Europe or US so if you know any, please let me know! The sentiment comes from Stempendous and its my first sentiment stamp I ever bought, which was 2 years ago but it must be older than that I guess cause its getting harder to stamp with it, and I use it a lot too!

Well just a short post today, but I hope you liked my card. I really do love it when you stop by and leave a comment so THANKS from the bottom of my heart!
