To all my Jewish friends and Readers! May Your Worries be light, your Joy be Great, and your Cup Overfloweth in this New Year that has just started for you. And take the time to Smell the Roses too! :))
I made this card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop. This is the first time I’m linking up a card, as I don’t drink coffee so I don’t have many coffee related stamps. But I just found out that its for tea and chocolate drinkers too, and I LOVE my tea! I’ve had to give up the normal teas to avoid taking caffeine, but I have loads of herbal teas which I drink all day.
So I decided to make a card using Stamplorations beautiful Dog Roses stamp. I really love this stamp but its always a challenge for me to colour it properly to give it justice, which is why I keep on going back to it, as I LOVE a challenge!
This time I stamped it in clear Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear Wow embossing powder. I then watercoloured it with my Winsor & Newton paints. Once it was dry, I covered it with the stamp and splattered gold paint all over the card. You can’t see it in the photo but the gold paint really shines!
I stamped the sentiment which comes from the same Stamplorations set with Versafine ink. To finish, I cut my panel with MFT blueprint 20 scallop rectangle die and adhered it to a red card base.
Well, I hope you liked my card and I look forward to reading your comments.
Thanks for stopping by!
