Hi all! I’m back with a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps “Calling All Sistahs” Encouragement Challenge and it will also be my last post as part of this Design team, as I have decided to step down after a wonderful year creating with my talented “Sistahs”! It was a very enriching time as it was my very first design team experience, and I will always remember and be grateful for the opportunity! Thank you so much to Michele and Heather for your support and hard work in organising this new challenge and you won’t be seeing the last of me, as now I can participate in the challenges!
For our last challenge of the year, we have a wonderful mood board to inspire you. You can go with anything on the mood blog, the stripes, the colours, the round chair, the marble of the table, the plants in the background… anything that inspires you to make an Encouragement card. And if you use any products from CAS-ual Fridays, you could win a $50 gift voucher to the store! If you don’t have any products from the store yet, enter anyway and who knows you might win $30 of their beautiful stamps and dies!
For todays’s card, I first embossed it with an embossing folder from MFT and then adhered a snowflake diecut, from the Flurry die set, which I had previously gone over with clear sparkle Spectrum Noir marker to make it glitter! For the “Joy” sentiment, I used the beautiful stamp from the Joy stamp set and stamped it in red on a piece of vellum. I used Versafine ink and it took ages to dry! I really have to get Stazon inks in other colours than black! I wrote “to the world” freehand with a black pen and adhered the vellum to the card with double sided tape.
I added a red ribbon and to finish, added some sparkle gems onto the middle of each snowflake.
Well I hope you liked my card and that you’ll pop over to the Calling All Sistahs blog and leave my Sistahs some love AND play along with our challenge. I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations in the link up!
