Hi all! I’m back today with my second DT card for the challenge blog Addicted to Stamps and More and the theme is Photo Inspiration, and what a wonderfully elegant photo we have to inspire you! I was inspired by the gold and black, the tag and the reindeer in the photo. What will you be inspired by!
I’m still in the middle of my house move so I made a really quick card and the first in my new craft room! :))) I first die cut a black card stock with a Spellbinders die and painted the stripes with my Metallic Accents from Prima Marketing watercolours. Doesn’t it shine! While it was drying, I stamped the reindeer and the trees, which were part of a larger stamp from Indigo Blue and a NBUS, onto a Kraft tag with Versafine black ink and dotted it with a gold felt pen. This card is for a friend’s colleague who is leaving the company so I added “Good Luck” in German on the tag and stuck a pencil on the card, as inside the card it will read “Write your own future”!
I’m sorry for the short post but I still have loads of boxes to unpack, especially in my new craft room. I’ve already unpacked my inks, stamps, dies, stencils, sprays, pastes, paints, various machines, card stock, paper.. .but I still have 6 boxes left to unpack!!! I think I’ll end up just leaving them in the boxes and after 3mths, if i don’t need anything in them, I’ll just give them all away!! 😉 Before I go, I wanted to share a way I found to store my block stamps. I don’t have many so this works perfectly for me. Its normally a jewellery organiser! The hanger was painted by my daughter when she was six btw.
Well I hope you’ll be inspired by the photo to create something and I really look forward to seeing it in the gallery! Do drop by the blog Addicted to Stamps and More and see what my fellow DT members created to inspire you too.
Thanks for dropping by and your comments really make my day!
