Hi all! I’m back with another challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge blog and our theme this fortnight chosen by Marsha is “Dashing thru the Snow”! I think its , unfortunately, such an appropriate theme as many of us are having lots of snow where we live. Personally I don’t mind the snow but I’m a little fed up of the grey days and rain, but hopefully once January has passed, the fog should lift from my area of the world! In the meantime, its a good excuse to stay in and craft! And now that my move is almost finished, our former house all painted and cleaned, thanks to some really good friends who came over to help, I have finally time to do some crafting! Yippee!
I made this shaker card using Penny Black stamps I got from a fellow crafter Virginia, and its the first time I’ve used it! I heat embossed them with white Wow embossing powder, on a distressed inked background, which I then die cut with My Favorite Things scallop rectangle frame die. I added double sided foam tape behind the frame so I could make the shaker bit using glass glitters. The sentiment, also from Penny Black, was stamped with Stazon ink.
Well I hope you liked my card and that you’ll pop over to The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge blog to leave my “sistahs” some love too! Have a great day!
I’m sharing this card over at:
Calling All Sistahs Encouragement challenge. As I’m no longer in their DT, I can now play along! As snow turns to water, I’m hoping my card fits with the theme too! 😉
